FARM LABORER:

   1. Worker will be required to carefully hoe and hand weed in onion fields.
 Workers must exercise care at all times to not harm or remove adjacent onion
 plants.

   2. Workers may be required to repetitively use ladder as directed to place
 product/trays.

   3. General clean-up: Worker will be required to conduct post-harvest clean
 up including power washing, sweeping, hoeing and shoveling.

   4. If worker is eligible to drive under Michigan law, Employer may require
 worker to drive in Employer-provided vehicle to and from the worksite and to
 other locations within 30 miles as directed.

   Tractor driving: Some workers may be required to drive tractor and/or
 forklift. Employer will provide additional training for this task.

   Greenhouse Activities: Worker will be required to set up greenhouse space
 as directed by supervisor. Worker will mix soil for filling
 flats/pots/hanging baskets as directed, worker will fill flats/pots/hanging
 baskets on flat filler machine and stack as directed. Workers will feed full
 trays through seeder. Workers will then transport seeded trays into
 greenhouse and place onto bed/ground/racks in an orderly manner in accordance
 with supervisor instructions. Extra care must be taken not to disturb,
 disrupt or spill the planted seeds from the tray cells during transport from
 seeder to flatbed/ground/racks. Worker will be required to transplant from
 plug trays into cell trays/pots/hanging baskets as directed by supervisor.
 After transplanting, worker will be required to place appropriate variety tag
 into tray/pot/hanging basket as directed by supervisor. After placing tag,
 worker will be required to lay out flats/pots/baskets and place onto
 bed/ground/racks/or hang baskets in an orderly manner in accordance with
 supervisor instructions. Worker will load flats/pots/baskets of plants,
 according to same-lot of plants onto carts or plant racks to be transported
 to loading facility as instructed by supervisor. Worker will be required to
 inspect and remove any undesirable foliage/flowers/plant material from
 flats/pots/hanging baskets.  Worker
 will be required to differentiate and keep separate different varieties of
 plants when placing onto carts or plant racks.  Worker will be required to push full racks
 onto trucks as directed by supervisor.  Worker will be required, as directed by supervisor to unload empty
 shipping racks off of semi-trailers.

   Worker will be required to spray weeds in the greenhouse. Additional
 training will be provided by the employer for this task.  

   Worker will work in and around greenhouses doing general maintenance, and
 monitoring plants according to supervisor instructions.

   Celery Trimming: In the greenhouse, worker will be required to use an
 electric push-cart to trim/mow the tops of the celery. Additional care must
 be used to safely perform this task. Employer will provide training.

   Celery Planting: Worker will be required to carefully carry celery
 transplant trays weighing up to 20 pounds to trailer. Worker will load trays
 onto celery transplanter. Worker will plant celery while riding on
 transplanter or walking behind filling in missed plants or fixing improperly
 placed plants. Worker will unload empty celery flats off transplanter and
 place back into trailer for reuse. Worker will be required to clean
 transplant trays. Worker will be required to stoop, bend, and lift up to 50
 pounds repetitively throughout the day.

Job requires worker to complete tasks in annual bedding plants, celery,
 beets, onions, general farm labor. Employer will provide instructions and
 training on specific job duties.


   Experience Requirement: 2 verifiable months of commercial hand harvest
 agricultural experience with a vegetable base required. Applicants must

 establishing acceptable prior experience.

 other quality problems as directed by supervisors. Thinning may be performed

   TRAINING: Training is a process in which the fruit tree is manipulated to
 increase yield and/or quality.  The
 Worker must possess ability to pick up, handle a 10 ft. or 12 ft. orchard
 ladder weighing 40 pounds. Training may be performed from a motorized
 platform and/or from the ground or ladder.  Some example training tasks are but not limited to:


   Tying, taping or clipping apple or pear limbs to wires.

   Tying up or down apple or pear limbs.

   Training and limb positioning of apple and pear trees.

   Shoot thinning, sucker removal, cluster thinning, shoot positioning,
 hedging, or leaf removal.  

   Propping and supporting apple and pear trees.

   Other Job Specifications Include: 1. Picking numerous varieties of pears
 according to established company procedures accounting for difference in the
 treatment of different varieties. 2. Hand harvesters may be required to
 selectively pick only fruit of a certain color and/or size as instructed by
 the supervisor. 3. Hand Harvesters will be required to handle fruit carefully
 and not bruise or damage fruit when it is placed in the bin. 4. Observation
 of bruised, damaged or cull fruit by the supervisor will result in a bad bin
 mark and after three bad bin marks, the workers will receive disciplinary
 action up to and including termination. A bad bin mark occurs when a bin is
 inspected and a significant number of culls, bruised or damaged are found by
 the supervisor. 5. Farm clean up tasks to include picking up garbage around
 the orchard, removing old string and wire from trellis and orchard blocks,
 and other hand tasks. 6. Safety sets and use ladders. Much of the picking
 will be done from an aluminum ladder up to 12 feet in height. 7. Hand tools,
 such as pruning hooks, shears, and/or picking will be utilized.

Three months of tree fruit experience required. There are general
 conditions of employment, general job specifications and individual
 requirements that are specific to each job duty. This type of work, involves
 working conditions that require tremendous stamina, a high level of physical
 activity in cold or extremely hot conditions in direct sunlight and in
 adverse weather such as rain. The work requires a high level of physical
 conditioning. Drug testing may be conducted post-employment and at the expense
 of the employer as stated in accordance with Departmental regulations at 20
 CFR sec. 6S5.122(b ).

Worker will conduct quality control inspections to crew members in the
 farm laborer/apple hand harvester position. Workers will be assigned to
 harvest team members during harvest season.

   Worker must be familiar with Employer food safety policies, and work rules
 for farm laborer/hand harvester position. Worker must identify and report any
 violations of employment policies to worker supervisor.

   Worker will be required to report any farm laborer/hand harvester worker
 absences or separations from employment to worker supervisor

   Worker will assist with weekly housing inspections.

   Worker will use radios to communicate with other quality control

 understand and agree to driving rules, as outlined in work rules below, and
 must provide proof of no infractions from official source. Worker may be
 required to operate farm vehicles to move between orchards and blocks.

   Worker will be responsible for providing harvest team members with
 necessary water supply, work tools including ladders and picking bags.
 Employer will inform worker of daily picking standards, including color, size
 and grade, and worker will be responsible for communicating standards to harvest
 team members. Quality control inspection requires extensive walking
 throughout the day and frequent stooping/bending. Worker will be required to
 move ladders and portable toilets between blocks and locations.

   Worker will be required to consistently check apple boxes throughout the
 day to verify compliance with quality standards. Worker must be able to
 identify any bruising or other damage, and check produce size and color.
 

   Worker will be required to scan and tag apple boxes throughout the day.
 Scanning and tagging is the process of tracking produce and harvest
 productivity during apple harvest. Worker will be required to accurately
 enter company and harvester information, price, variety and block codes in
 handheld scanner. Once box is full, worker will scan harvester barcodes or
 manually enter harvester information and print corresponding tags. Tags must
 then be attached to corner of apple box using a staple hammer or as otherwise
 instructed. Worker may be required to give copy of tag to harvest worker.
 Worker must ensure all boxes have been tagged prior to leaving orchard for
 the day. At the end of the day, worker may be required to connect scanner to
 computer to drop data into computer system. Worker will be required to
 properly store scanning equipment in office and collect tickets from workers,
 as directed by manager. Worker may be required to manually enter data and
 check data in computer to ensure accuracy.

   Worker may be required to assist harvesters in the completion of apple and
 cherry harvest.

   Pay will be hourly.

Crops/Commodities:

   Hops, grapes.

   This job requires a minimum of 3 months of verifiable agricultural
 experience working in a vineyard, perennial crop farm (such as tree fruit) or
 a commercial hop farm handling both manual and mechanized  tasks including commodity production
 associated with production of grapes or hops. Workers must be able to perform
 manual and mechanized tasks with accuracy and efficiency.  


   Pre-hop harvest equipment and facilities cleaning and preparation:  This job consists of the cleaning and
 preparation of the equipment and facilities necessary for the hop harvest
 operation.  


   Operate the feeding station in the hop picking machines:  This job consists of operating the
 equipment to mix the individual vine unloading stations in a hop picking
 machine and guide the vines into the main picker.  Worker must operate the individual vine
 track stops to allow one track at a time into the vine transfer.  They must also use a short stick to help
 position the vines for the transfer.  In addition, they are to keep the vines from tangling and alert the
 machine mechanics right away in the event of a jam.  This job requires concentration and is
 performed from a standing position.


   Unload hop vines by hand from hop vine hauling trucks (Vine hanger):  Mature hop vines need to be transported
 from the field to a stationary harvest facility.  This job consists of unloading hop vine
 trucks at a stationary picking machine.  It requires the worker to grab the vine on the bottom end and lift it
 up and hang in on the harvesting machine hook.  It is a physically demanding job requiring
 lifting and pulling arm strength.  


   Drive and unload hop vine hauling trucks during harvest (Hop vine truck
 driver): Mature hop vines need to be transported from the field to a
 stationary harvest facility. This job consists of driving the hop vine truck
 while loading and transporting the hop vines to the harvesting facility.  Once there, the driver will assist one of
 the hop vine unloader/hangers in unloading the truck by hand.  All of the job requirements specific to the
 hop vine unloader/hanger position apply to the driver while performing this
 part of the job. Worker must have a current and valid driver's license and
 possess the necessary experience to operate the hop vine truck in a safe
 manner.


   Pick up and load into trucks hop vines that have fallen in the field:  Mature hop vines need to be transported
 from the field to a stationary harvest facility.  This job consists of walking behind the
 field hop vine loading crew and picking up and loading into trucks the vines
 that have fallen prematurely.  This job
 requires a considerable amount of walking and some lifting.


   Drive gondola tractor for grape harvest:  Worker will drive the tractor that transports the grapes from the
 field picker to the road hauling truck.  Worker must be able to control the speed of the tractor to match the
 picker during loading.  


   Drive hop waste spreader truck:  The
 unused portion of the hop plant is chopped up and spread back out on the roadways
 around the fields as dust abatement.  This job consists of driving the hop waste spreader truck that hauls
 the hop waste away from the harvesting facility and spreads it out.   The worker is also responsible for the
 operation of the hop waste hopper that fills the truck, minor maintenance of
 the spreader truck (outlined during job training) and keeping the area around
 the hop waste hopper clean.  Workers
 performing these tasks must have a current and valid driver's license and
 possess the necessary experience to operate the hop waste truck in a safe
 manner.  


   Bale dried hops:  After the hop cones
 have been dried, removed from the kiln floors, and sufficiently cooled, they
 must be baled prior to transport.  This
 job consists of the process of baling the loose dry hops cones into
 transportable hop bales.
